Black Walnut Cabin is a modern luxury cabin situated on 5 acres in between Accord and Kerhonkson NY with private access to the O&W rail trail. Sit out on the covered porch and watch the hummingbirds or curl up by one of our fireplaces and relax. The home provides a long list of amenities to make your stay ultra comfortable, from the fully-stocked chef's kitchen to the custom walk-in shower with Aveda bath products. If you want to venture out there is no shortage of things to do. Visit one of the many family-friendly breweries or distilleries or explore the many hiking trails at Minnewaska State Park. Black Walnut Cabin is perfect for families and we hope you enjoy it as much as ours does.

We have an EV Charger (Level 2) in the driveway that guests are welcome to use free of charge

Rail Trail Access

Just walk down the hill to the O&W Rail Trail. Five minutes down the path to Veterans Park

Outdoor Spaces

Enjoy the deck, covered porch, and patio. There is ample seating and a table on the deck for dining.

Three large flatscreens with main streaming apps (Netflix, Hulu, Disney+, Amazon Prime), plus board games and puzzles in the loft

Fire Pit

We have a fire pit with a solo stove and plenty of seating for nights outdoors

Our home is extremely child-friendly. We have two children who love spending time there and we hope your children do too

Swing Set

We have a swing set in the front yard with two swings, a slide, and a climbing wall

Bunk Beds

The bunk beds in the kids room have twin sized mattresses, blankets, and stuffed animals

Toys & Books

The house has lots of toys and books and games for young children. There is also a teepee in the kids room

Pack and Play

For those with very small children, we also have a Graco Pack and Play for families to use

Easel & Art Supplies

We have a Melissa & Doug easel with a chalk board on one side and a white board or paper on the other

Veterans Park Playground

Five minutes down the rail trail is a large playground. There are also tennis courts, pickleball courts, and a basketball hoop
